What a РМ does at Syberry:
- Manages projects in compliance with the PMBOK: plans how the software will be created, monitors the execution of the plan, takes into account and prevents risks
- Communicates with a client
- Ensures that the project doesn’t exceed time & budget limits (including the Fixed Price Projects)
- Bears responsibility for a team’s productivity, as well as for a team’s satisfaction with their job (holds 1-on-1 meetings, provides feedback, participates in the adaptation of employees)
- Organizes work on a project by the standard processes of the company
We expect that a РМ:
- Has at least 1 year’s experience working as a Project Manager in IT
- Has delivered successful projects no shorter than 6 person months
- Knows PMI
- Knows or has worked following project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
- Knows the English language at the Upper-Intermediate Level (or higher) and can communicate fluently with native English speakers
Other experiences will prove useful as well:
- You have worked as a business analyst or a developer
- You have gone on business trips to a client and have worked on-site
- You have participated in pre-sale activities
